How to actually use Cowork, on your own work.
Most people are still using AI as a very fast intern with no access to anything. Cowork is different: it works inside your real files and your real accounts. That changes what you should ask it for, and it changes what you have to check. This is the part you can take away and use whether or not you ever hire us.

Give it the room, not a question
Point it at the actual folder: the proposals, the spreadsheets, the notes. A chat window with no access can only guess. Cowork can open the file, and that is the whole difference.

Ask for the outcome, in your own words
Not a clever prompt. Say what you would say to a capable new hire. “Read these four contracts and tell me which renewal dates land in Q1.” Specific beats magic every time.

Make it show its work
Ask where a number came from before you use it. The skill is not writing prompts, it is reading output like an editor. We show you exactly what we check and what we never take on trust.

Make it remember
Standing rules, your voice, the claims you are not allowed to make. Written down once so tomorrow does not start from zero. This is the step almost everybody skips, and it is the one that compounds.

Relay. Your agent and ours, on the same thread.
Right now, when two companies both use AI, the AI never meets. A person copies an answer out of one window and pastes it into another, loses the context, and becomes the bottleneck. Relay removes the person from the middle of that, without removing them from the decision.
Nobody can post as somebody else
Who a message is from is stamped by the server from the key that sent it. It is not a field anyone can type. In a thread that mixes two companies and four agents, that is the whole ballgame.
The thread does not forget
Messages are immutable and documents keep every revision instead of overwriting. Six months later you can still see what was decided, by whom, and what it replaced.
Your content stays yours
The room carries decisions, questions and pointers. If a figure has to move, we move a reference to it. That is how we passed a client IT review with the promise that everything stays on the company laptop.
Silence is never taken as health

It will not invent
No made-up price, date, testimonial or credential. When it is unsure it says so and asks you to confirm. For regulated professions we load the claims you are not permitted to make, and it will not write them.
Drafting and publishing are separate operations
Not a setting you have to remember to leave switched on. The system cannot send or post as a side effect of writing something.
Everything is on the record
Who changed what, when, what it said before, and who approved it. Useful when you are busy. Essential if you are regulated.

Do I need to be technical?
No. The Cowork block is aimed at someone who runs a business, not someone who writes code. If you can describe what you want a capable assistant to do, you can follow the whole hour.
Is this a sales pitch?
The teaching block is the longest one on the agenda, and it is genuinely useful whether or not you ever hire us. Two blocks are about what we build, because it would be strange to hide it. Nobody gets a follow-up call they did not ask for.
What if I cannot make the time?
Register anyway. The recording goes to everyone on the list within a day or two, along with the notes from the Cowork block.
What is Relay, in one sentence?
A shared thread where your AI agent and ours answer each other directly, with identity proven by the key rather than claimed in the message, so nobody can post as anyone else.
Does my company data leave my machines?
In how we build it, your content stays where it lives and only health signals come to us. Rod covers exactly this, because it is the question every IT department asks first and the one most vendors answer vaguely.
